Technopolis Ülemiste AS, the developer of Ülemiste City campus, and Nordecon Betoon OÜ concluded a contract to build a new 12,000 m² parking house at Lõõtsa 11. The cost of the construction contract is EUR 3 million, plus VAT. The building will be completed in the first half of 2018.
„A new parking house will be completed in parallel with the new 13-storey office building, Lõõtsa 12. We want to make the commute as easy as possible for our customers. The new parking house will provide space for approximately 450 cars and it will improve the parking conditions in the whole Ülemiste campus,“ says Gert Jostov, the chairman of the board of Technopolis Ülemiste AS. „The location of the new parking house will be very convenient for people who wish to drive or walk from the campus to the airport.“
“Technopolis Ülemiste and Nordecon already have one successful project behind – the first parking house in the Ülemiste campus was completed in cooperation in January 2015. The architecture and constructor of the building received a special award at the competition of Concrete Building of the Year. We are happy to start this new project with Nordecon Betoon,“ Jostov notes.
“Nordecon Betoon is one of the leading constructors of parking spaces in Estonia, this is already the second parking house to build in cooperation with Technopolis Ülemiste,” said Mait Rõõmusaar, the chairman of the board of Nordecon Betoon OÜ. “I am delighted that the contracting authority trusts us – Technopolis Ülemiste is an experienced developer demanding good quality. The parking house at Lõõtsa 11 will be a 5-storey concrete building. We will start the project in November with design works, and the construction will start in March 2017.”
